Born and raised in Knoxville, TN, Tara is a self-taught graphic designer who now lives in Asheville, NC with her husband and two young children. She has loved all things artsy and creative since she can remember, but it wasn’t until after the birth of her second child in 2014 that Tara decided to take the plunge into opening her Etsy design shop, Heart of Life Design. Tara obtained a master’s degree in Organizational Training from Tusculum College in 2010, but, soon after, realized she wanted to eventually do more behind-the-scenes design work so she finished a master’s degree in Educational Media & Technology from East Tennessee State University in 2013. This degree, combined with now being a stay-at-home mom, led Tara down the design path she’s on now, andshe is loving every minute of it.
