Mark Keathley (b. 1963), has been “chasing the light” since he was 10 years old on a farm in East Texas. “Growing up in the country gave me a love for the outdoors and an appreciation for the moment.” Vividly recalling a covey of quail bursting to flight in the Piney woods hunting as a teen, or the mist rising off the pond while fishing in the early morning, Mark has been enamored with mood, light, drama, and color. Add those elements to an emotional tie, a great design, and artistic expression, and one quickly sees why his art as widely sought after across the country. His art is represented in galleries in Aspen, Jackson Hole, Sante Fe, Gatlinburg and more; and has over 100 published limited edition images. Mark's desire is to tell a story that will cause the viewer to ponder the important things in life – family, passion, history, faith, and purpose.
