Sara Zieve Miller has been making art since she was old enough to hold a pencil. Her childhood was spent in a house in the woods where she spent countless hours making tiny animals out of beads. The plants and animals that grew and lived around her have been a huge inspiration for her illustration work. While attending the Rhode Island School of Design, Sara developed a love for all types of printmaking. Her prints and illustrations have been exhibited at several shows at RISD and in the student competition exhibit at the Society of Illustrators in New York. She currently resides in New York and does her illustrating in various sunny living rooms either at her own apartment or in those of friends and family.
