His artwork, primarily oil painting, reflects his love of nature and landscapes. James studied at the Emily Carr College of Art & Design in Vancouver, earning a diploma in printmaking and painting. James has applied the work ethic he gained on his family farm to his 30 year career as a professional artist. James is dedicated to his wife, children, and close-knit extended family.
