Marilyn Hageman's rich paintings capture mood and energy. She began to paint horses at the early age of three, intrigued by their speed and motion. Now a painter of natural landscapes and botanicals, Marilyn still strives to capture the lyrical energy of the horses she drew in childhood. She also holds an MFA in painting. She now works and resides in Illinois, where larger-than-life canvases line the walls of her studio, depicting horses or wine or a villa on a hillside.
